Remember that pin one on all jumpers is maked with a small white triangle. There is other good news in the data you found dislpay the ATX power connector on the Gateway is absolutely standard, so there should be no problem fitting a generic PSU.

Found It Thanks for the help. Thank e1339761 for using FixYa. The dell psu’s do not look any different from a standard one, just that the pins in the atx connector were different. The hard drive red LED will be on whenever the drive is being accessed. Free tech support, motherboard ID, and more. Any advice will be appreciated.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US. If you visplay it with a standard one, the motherboard is now dead. There might be pins on the motherboard for reset. You can ask for more help.
